GMG’s screening and packaging plant in Izmir/Aliağa, with it’s 30.000 ton storage concrete-covered open area and 10,000 mt/month packaging capacity, with several screening machines and digital bagging machines on service is acknowledged to be one of the most modernised of its kind.

Import

Coal, imported from Siberia Region in Russia, is discharged from the port after customs procedure, transferred by trucks to our complex for screening and packaging.

Screening

Received coal in bulk is classified into categories according to size after screening:

• 0-7mm
• 8-12 mm
• 12-22 mm
• 22-30 mm
• 22-65 mm
• 65-120 mm
• 120-300 mm

Packaging

Classified coal can be delivered either in various sizes bags or unpacked. Coal transferred to the bagging machine through conveyors and packed 25 kg or 40 kg bags and gets ready for sale.

Transferring and Delivery

Ready for sale coal is transported to our customers by trucks.
